Q. If I have issues with Easy 5 Star, who do I contact?
A. All customer support and technical support is handled by contacting [email protected]
Q. Am I guaranteed a 5 star review every time a text request is sent out?
A. No, you still must provide 5 star products and services. Your customers still have the option of NOT giving you a review at all. The app simply makes it easier for them and you to make it a possibility.
Q. Does Easy 5 Star guarantee that nobody can leave bad reviews?
A. No, the program is setup up to help prevent bad reviews, but cannot block clients from leaving bad reviews.
Q. Do the customers have to have a Google or Facebook account to leave a 5 star review?
A. Yes, the app sends your customer to your Google or Facebook page, but they must have an account setup to leave the review. If they don’t have an account they can set one up, but we find that most of the time it is just easier to accept that you will not get a review from that customer. You will not get every customer to leave a review. That’s ok, just move on to the next. Think of it as a numbers game.
Q. What if I don’t have a Google or Facebook business page setup?
A. You need to set them up asap. It’s free and it’s easy. Go to the following websites and simply follow the instructions:

Q. Does the app notify me when a review is left by a customer?
A. No, if you have your Google or Facebook pages setup correctly they will notify you by email when a review has been left.
Q. How long does it take for Google and Facebook to post the reviews?
A. Sometimes it takes an hour or two. Sometimes it takes up to 48 hours. The app has no control over Google or Facebook.
Q. My customer said they left a 5 star review on Google or Facebook but I still don’t see it after several days.
A. Sometimes Google and Facebook will filter reviews or decide they are not legitimate so will not post them. I know it’s frustrating and unfair. Unfortunately, the app does not have control over how Google or Facebook decide to post reviews.
Q. What if I don’t want to get reviews from Google or Facebook, can I get 5 star reviews from other websites?
A. Yes, the app can be programmed to direct customers to any site that allows reviews including Facebook, Angie’s List, Yellowpages, etc. Please notify [email protected] to make a custom change.
Q. Can I just start entering the phone numbers of all my past customers?
A. No, that is very bad idea and will most likely confuse and possibly anger customers. It works best right after a transaction when your product or service is still fresh in their mind. If you ask permission or give them notification first, then you will greatly increase the likelihood of a 5 star review.
Q. Can I enter the phone number of the same customer again if they don’t leave me a review?
A. This is a bad idea unless you get permission from the customer. If you continue to send repeated text messages without permission you may get yourself into trouble. If they don’t want to leave a review then it is best to accept it and move on to the next customer.
Q. Does the app upload reviews to Google and Facebook?
A. No, the app makes the process of requesting reviews very easy by getting them to your Google or Facebook page via a text message request.
Q. Does the app send reviews to both Google and Facebook at the same time?
A. No, at this point the app will only send the customer to your Google OR Facebook page depending on what you decide at setup. In the future, we plan to have separate buttons to choose Google or Facebook instead of contacting support to make the change for you.
Q. Does the app integrate with my other software?
A. No, at this point it is a stand-alone system. We are open to integrations for future versions, please let us know your ideas.
Q. What if I have several businesses or business locations, do I need to buy separate apps for each?
A. Yes, you will need to purchase a separate app for each location that has its own Google or Facebook business page.
Q. What if I have several employees working for my business, can they each have the same app on their phones, tablets, etc?
A. Yes, you can have the same app on multiple devices at no extra charge.
Q. What if I don’t have a smart phone or tablet, can I still use Easy 5 Star?
A. Yes, we can help you set it up on a desktop or laptop computer.
Q. Does the app also do ongoing text reminders, coupons, email or other marketing?
